Russian Artists Take Part in the 17th Asian Art Biennale
Russian artists with Bangladeshi roots Rubina and Sabina Khosseyn took part in the 17th Asian Art Biennale, launched in Dhaka on December 1, 2016. This is one of the biggest modern art festivals in Asia, which traditionally attracts talented visual artists from Asia and Asia-Pacific.
There are four pictures by Rubina and Sabina Khosseyn being exhibited at the Biennale. Works of the Russian artists created in hyperrealism style have been highly assessed by the festival's organizers and local connoisseurs of art.
This is the second time Rubina and Sabina Khosseyn have presented their pictures before Bangladeshi audience. In February this year, the exhibition of their works "Bangla Amar Desh" ("Bengal is My Land") was held at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka. It was devoted to Bangladesh, which is the native country of Rubina and Sabina's father.
