H.E. Mr. Alexander Ignatov, Ambassador of Russia to Bangladesh, called on H.E. Mr. Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday, August 3.

It was noted that Russia and Bangladesh are satisfied with the present state of bilateral relations and positive trends in trade and economic cooperation between them. Various initiatives to strengthen and renovate the legal framework of bilateral relations should be energetically supported, the diplomats said.

They also discussed a range of proposals to further develop ties in different spheres with a view to intensifying them.
