United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bangladesh H.E. Mr. Robert Watkins called on Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh H.E. Mr. Alexander Ignatov on Monday, August 8, 2016.

The discussion was focused on public security issues in the country, especially the security of foreigners and diplomats. Alexander Ignatov and Robert Watkins noted active steps of the government to investigate the terrorist attack in Dhaka on July 1 this year. At the same time, they shared the opinion that Bangladesh authorities would have to do a lot to strengthen public security.
