On October 18, 2016, a presentation on the state-of-the-art products of Kaspersky Lab in the sphere of IT security took place in Dhaka. To participate in the event special representatives of Kaspersky Lab from Moscow and India came to Bangladesh. Alexander Ignatov, Ambassador of Russia to Bangladesh, took part as a guest of honour.

The presentation, organized for local IT and financial companies, was aimed at presenting detailed information on advantages of Kaspersky Lab software, including products for banking sector. It was noted that the company’s cyber security solutions meet the latest technological requirements and satisfy the demands of various types of users.  

Prabeer Sarkar, CEO of local Kaspersky distributor  Officextracts, said in his address that the company's software enjoys strong demand among governmental and business organizations globally and in Bangladesh. In this country Kaspersky Lab has already won a considerable percentage of antivirus market which is due to the most modern technological characteristics of Kaspersky products.
