Bangladesh approves “Sputnik V” vaccine

On April 27 this year the Directorate General of Drug Administration under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh registered the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 “Sputnik V” for “emergency use”, which has demonstrated high rates of efficacy, immunogenicity and safety. This step will promote launching of constructive cooperation between our countries in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.

 Bangladesh has become the 62nd country to authorize the use of the Russian vaccine.
